Magical, cosy log pod with panoramic views

Small, yet perfectly formed, with far reaching views to captivate and inspire. A mile up from the local village, complete with castle, pub and award winning shop, think big skies and huge views, with the dramatic Black Mountain range and historic Offa’s Dyke border in clear sight. Heaps to head off and explore or simply sit back, sip a glass and stare. Perfect for getting away from it all as there is no mobile coverage or Wi-Fi.

Stride out in the Brecon Beacons, paddle and cycle in the Wye Valley or gently pootle around Norman ruins, market towns and local fayres and festivals.

Perched high in the Welsh Borders, the quirky pod sits within the quiet grounds of an idyllic country smallholding. Be greeted by friendly gaggles of ducks heading off towards the pond and pat the pony grazing the field behind before finding your perch on the porch. Step inside for cosiness, double bed, sofa, mini kitchen and even a shower room, everything you could need for a night in the hills.

From £90 per night of cosiness

Spent 4 fantastic nights in the Pod. Great location with a fantastic view and total quiet. The Pod is very well finished, with a decent size bathroom and excellent shower, very comfortable bed, and very decent cooking facilities we used each evening. The little veranda is great for a read on a warm night and deck chairs were provided too. The owner was friendly and very welcoming and we appreciated the bottle of wine, eggs and snacks they left us.

We stayed a week in the pod in August. The location is fantastic and the view is breathtaking. The owner Bob was really friendly and helpful. The pod is small, but has everything you need if you want to get away from it all for a week. Great location for visiting the general area and there are some fantastic walks nearby. Local village has a great shop and some really authentic local pubs
