Cuddle up in a love-nest made for two
Planning a romantic get-away? Then cuddling up in a love-nest made for two in the beautiful Black Mountains could be just the thing!Newly built by Simon (a carpenter) and Rhiannon at Little Trewern Farm, Mountain View Cabin is exactly what it says on the tin - a beautiful wooden house made for two, set high on a Welsh-border hill-top, with views stretching out for miles to the Black Hill and across the Black Mountains.
The cute cabin comes complete with a small, perfectly formed kitchen, welcoming homemade treats on arrival, a wood burning stove to keep you toasty, and a comfy double bed with a spectacular pillow view of the mountains. In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow with spectacular views and total peace and quiet.
As well as an idyllic rural setting, with complete privacy, the cabin has piping hot water, proper plumbing and power on demand. And there are wood working, bakery and cooking courses too, all down at the farm. Or for those looking for complete rest and relaxation, you can walk the 100 metres down through the woodlands to the beautiful stone farmhouse and enjoy Rhiannon’s delicious cooking. You can choose either a two-course or three-course evening meal served to you in the half-timbered dining room, or if the weather is warm, you can eat on the terrace. It is, as Country Living Magazine says: “.. an idyllic spot with spectacular views of the Black Mountains and gourmet meals”!
