Our visitors say:
"Wonderful stay, so relaxing, we are already planning to return. Great base for amazing black mountain walks but always so lovely returning to the comfort of the barn and it’s lovely setting. We loved walking up through the woods via the rope swing to fabulous mountain views, drinking morning coffee outside with Hatterrall Ridge in front of us and always having such a cosy base to return to. The rustic style is perfect and the homemade sourdough on arrival delicious. Thank you!" Andrea from Gloucestershire
"Great cottage – perfect for our family of 5. It can often be tricky with 3 children to make sure everyone is comfy but we really loved Warmth and Wonder. Homemade bread is yummy and lots of firewood for really lovely wood burner. Beautiful setting, convenient location and very friendly hosts. We’ll be back for sure." Mariana from London
"Great hideaway, well presented and well thought-out -including the travel directions and handy booklets. Lovely warm welcome from Matt and Polly on arrival and nice little touches [like the amazing loaf of homemade bread]. Amazing to wake up to view of mountains in such a peaceful place, and easy to get about to Hay, Abergavenny, Hereford, Brecon [and local walking country]. Definitely recommend the place and the hosts." Paul & Julie from Bristol
"I had a fantastic almost-week at Garn Farm. The barn is comfortable, well- equipped and life there is extremely relaxing. I travelled solo, without a car, as part of a retreat from city life and it was perfect. You can curl up in front of the wood-burner, relax on the terrace above the barn with a glass of wine; even washing up while watching the goldfinches and wagtails potter about the garden is a pleasure. The weather was less reliable, but it didn’t stop me making the most of the stunning setting, the valley is a hidden gem with lots of opportunities for walking. Matt and Polly were very helpful and friendly and have put so much thought in to the property. I only wish I could have stayed longer." Claire from London
"We really enjoyed our stay at Warmth and Wonder. The accommodation was lovely. The view was stunning, across the Herefordshire countryside. We enjoyed a wood burning fire in the evenings. Polly and Matt made us feel very welcome and comfortable. A lovely place to unwind and relax." Sarah from London
