“Beautiful traditional Pub with excellent food and service”
Hi,
we went with a group of 19 people for a birthday meal and drinks yesterday. It was the birthday girl's request to go to this particular pub (The Bridge Inn, Michaelchurch) and it took us about half an hour to get there from Crickhowell but I have to say it was well worth the drive! The food was absolutely fantastic and great value for money, the service excellent! Although we were such a big group of people, young and old, we never had to ask for anything and the friendly staff left nothing to wish for. I had the Venison Turret and as much as I wanted to I couldn't possibly fit a pudding in afterwards (which was a real shame for there were so many on the list). I also loved the traditional pub atmosphere (I'm from Germany and a bit of a sucker for cosy traditional UK pubs) so I will definitely go back to The Bridge Inn with my husband and in-laws soon. I highly recommend this pub to anyone and you will even enjoy the drive down the little lanes through a beautiful countryside.
